This Lunch & Learn Series was designed to equip educators, school staff, community members, parents, and caregivers to create trusting relationships with young people for the purpose of building resilience and preventing the use of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) like vapes.
All TrustEd Tuesday sessions will be held at 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm MT.

This interactive Lunch & Learn introduces the Trusted Adult Principles—10 practical, youth-informed strategies for building trust, connection, and emotional safety with young people. Participants explore real-world scenarios, reflect on their own practice, and apply relationship-centered approaches that support student mental health and reduce risky behaviors like vaping. Designed for educators and youth-serving professionals, the session blends research and youth voice to help adults show up with intention, care, and impact.

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 – Preventing Youth Vaping – Register Now!
Young people today are navigating high levels of stress, emotional distress, and barriers to mental health support, and some turn to vaping as a way to cope. This workshop explores the connection between youth mental health and vaping, including why nicotine use can feel helpful in the moment but often makes stress and anxiety worse over time. Participants will learn how trusted adults can respond with empathy, support healthy coping skills, and play a meaningful role in preventing or interrupting vaping.
